The sculpture is inspired by the idea of Feng Shui, which is a traditional Chinese system of geomancy used for predicting fortunes. To elicit an entertaining experience, the machine is powered manually. This creates the imitation of the mumbling of a Buddhist monk. This sound recreates the background noise generated by the fortune-teller as he predicts the future.

这件雕塑的灵感源自风水的理念，风水是一种传统的中国堪舆体系，用于预测吉凶祸福。为了营造一种趣味性的体验，装置由手动驱动。这产生了一种模仿佛教僧侣喃喃低语的声音。这样的声音再现了算命先生在预测未来时所营造的背景声。
